SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
This individual will Provide CP-12 Blackboard online instruction for CP-12 Blackboard training courses. Assist the Primary Blackboard Domain Administrator building course shells and enroll students for scheduled Blackboard training. Provide technical assistance to enrolled students, reset assignments, and manage grades. Provide remedial training to students that have course failures and coordinate counseling's with CP-12 Class Managers. Manage grade centers and archive student courseware. Review course materials for CP-12 Blackboard courses to identify course errors and changes needed to ensure standardization between the Blackboard and resident training courses. Submit course change requests to update course materials.
Brief students in each CP-12 resident class to prepare them for Phase 2 Blackboard online Phase training
Review course materials for instructor certification of CP-12 Blackboard training courses
Conduct coordination meetings with CP-12 instructor staff to review course content and establish certification to teach each course in accordance with G7 policy
Conduct course reviews for CP-12 Blackboard course materials; PowerPoint presentations, lesson plans, student assignments, to identify necessary corrections needed to standardize the BB training with the corresponding resident training course
Submit course revision requests for needed course changes to the Nonresident Training Development Division in accordance with policy
Provide remedial training to enrolled CP-12 students that have difficulty with the Blackboard course curriculum. Coordinate with the CP-12 Class Manager for student counseling when warranted
Manage course Grade Centers, populate grade sheets, create and correct grade columns, creating calculated columns
Extract student grades and provide reports to CP-12 Class Manager
Conduct an After Action Review with the CP-12 Class Manager at the conclusion of each CP-12 Class to identify needed course or procedural changes
Archive blackboard student courseware to maintain historical audit trail Blackboard Domain Administration Requirements and deliverables:
Serve as School 012 Secondary Blackboard Domain Administrator Provide technical and student support (phone, email and in residential classrooms) for CP-12 Blackboard courses. Assist students logging into Blackboard courses, manually clearing cache, SSL slate and cookies, changing compatibility view, adjusting F12 developer tools, restoring course links, uploading documents, resetting exams and assignment uploads, and other technical assistance necessary to complete course requirements
Train newly assigned CP-12 instructors to properly utilize Blackboard and its myriad of functions
Assist the Primary Domain Administrator to create course shells for prescheduled CP-12 classes Assign Course ID and course names, assign courses to CRU Domain, identify and enroll instructors
Load course material: examinations, assignments, surveys, references, videos, power points and general course material
Coordinate with CP-12 Class Manager to obtain student rolls and enroll CP-12 students in appropriate Blackboard classes
Provide ELLC Blackboard course enrollment/completion data to G7 upon request
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Active Secret security clearance
Blackboard Domain Administrator qualified
Blackboard Instructor qualified
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must be able to obtain a SECRET security Clearance
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to clearly express ideas and solutions to customers and colleagues
Well-developed presentation, telephone and writing skills; strong attributes as a team player
Preferred
Prior experience in the Military or as a Department of the Army Civilian is a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting.  Typical work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m (Central Time). Job may require additional hours. Work hours may change at Management’s discretion with or without prior notice.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
