SUMMARY
GTS is a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is currently seeking a qualified Network Administrator for U.S. Army Combat Readiness Center contract at Ft. Rucker, AL. To provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) sustainment of the Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet), the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet), the Data Center, the Software Development Networks, the Special Purpose Networks such as the Digital Collection/Analysis (DCAI) Lab, and the Communication and Public Affairs (CPA) Lab, and the Continuity of Operations Program (COOP) enclaves. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for documentation and support of processes involving application installation and patching, performance improvement, availability of server and network platforms and troubleshooting technical issues.
Responsible for proactively monitoring all development, test, and production infrastructure
Responsible for design and implementation of IT solutions
Provides technical guidance and leadership to those with less experience
Evaluate new approaches and methods to achieve enhanced capabilities and levels of service
Maintain VEEAM backup systems, to include D2D and tape systems, COOP and off-site storage.
Maintain SCCM systems, to include daily SCCM maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Must possess a strong knowledge of Windows Server 2012 R2, SAN (Storage Area Networks), IIS, FTP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, Group Policy, Certificate Services, Load Balancing, Clustering, Virtualization, Backups, NTFS, database dependencies (SQL/Oracle) and industry security principles and processes
In-depth knowledge of hardening of server OS’s, hardware and infrastructure architecture
Experience with VEEAM and industry standard backup processes
Experience with TCP/IP networking protocols (ability to debug and manage at the network level, and firewall management)
Microsoft Certified (MCSA 2012 R2 or 2016) in Server Administrator or Enterprise Server Administration is required
Comptia Security
Experience in maintaining and administering Windows servers in a Hyper-V environment
Must be flexible and adaptable to changing environments and short notice changes
Work environment will be supporting senior military personnel, so candidate must be able to work in a stressful environment
Experience with cable assembly (ex.. Fiber, RJ-45, RJ-11, COAX, etc.)
Good time management skills
Good interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external customers and vendors
Ability to work under pressure or potentially stressful situations and remain calm and focused
Must be able to obtain DOD security clearance a) Favorable completion of a National Agency Check (NAC) (current within 180 days)
(b) Initiation of a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) and favorable review of SF 85P (Questionnaire For Public Trust Positions), SF 86 (Questionnaire For National Security Positions), and Supplemental Questionnaire.
Must be customer oriented
Ability to document all project tasks according to deadlines
Ability to work on a computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face
Must occasionally lift and or move heavy objects
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently to identify errors, pinpoint root causes, and devise solutions with minimal oversight.
Outstanding communication skills. Ability to communicate with senior management and federal client staff – both technical and non-technical – in a clear and concise manner using proper spelling, punctuation and grammar.

Preferred
Should have advanced knowledge of Windows Operation Systems (2012 R2), System and network architecture, and an in depth knowledge of system hardware, operating systems, software systems configuration in a military setting with at least 8-10 years of experience in Information Technology field

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 
The employee works in an office environment with a low to moderate noise level. Typical work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m (Central Time). Job may require additional hours. Work hours may change at Management’s discretion, with or without prior notice.
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
