Associate Attorney
Red Bank, NJ

Family Law Attorney candidate would have the following job responsibilities:

-  Correspond with attorneys, Court and clients

-  Conduct legal research and analysis on various family law issues

- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, Case Information Statements, and other documents for family law cases

-Conducting discovery in family law cases

- Represent clients in court proceedings, including but not limited to status conferences, motion hearings, trial and if applicable, arbitration

- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients primarily in divorce and post jugment matters

-Attend mediation sessions with clients

- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients

- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex cases

- Manage case files and maintain accurate records

Experience:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Admission to the state bar association

- Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing in Family Law and Judical Clerkship preferred but not mandatory

- Proficiency in legal research using Westlaw

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice to clients

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

-Strong computer skills including achieving proficiency on Easy Soft and My Case.

This is a full time position and candidate would be working on site in our Red Bank office
