Accounting Manager

About the Role: Work with SVP and VP of Accounting to enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation, effectiveness, and efficiency of the department Total involvement with all accounting and reporting functions of assigned portfolios under management including reporting results internally and externally to lenders and investor partners Manage and monitor cash flow and forecasting Beginning-to-end preparation and review of monthly Income Tax Basis and GAAP financial statements with analysis of actual to budget variances Review monthly property reporting packages including data from legal, construction, and other operations groups Responsible for lender debt compliance including DSCR and debt yield calculations Participate in the preparation, review, and re-forecast of annual budgets What We Offer: Compensation and Benefits Competitive Pay Year-end discretionary bonus 401k with company match Medical, dental and vision insurance Work-Life Balance Hybrid Work Model 20 annual PTO days 11 paid Holidays Paid parental leave Career Development Industry-leading training Open door policy Mentorship Program Our Ideal Candidate: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 4 years of financial analysis experience (Public experience preferred) Strong systems experience: MRI, Nexus, and Procore experience all a plus! Experience overseeing and developing staff Residential or commercial real estate experience (commercial experience preferred) Tax and GAAP basis experience Organized and reliable with strong analytical skills and attention to detail The expected salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $140,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
