Executive Legal Assistant
Fort Lauderdale, FL

Abrams Law is seeking an executive legal assistant to join its busy land use, property law and litigation practice.  The Firm is growing, and administrative support is needed in all facets of our practice.  We are searching for an independent individual who possesses a quick and efficient learning ability, exhibits strong interpersonal skills, collaborates effectively within a team, and consistently delivers exceptional client service. Organizational prowess and work efficiency are paramount for success in this role. While a robust academic background is essential, prior experience in a law firm is preferred, although candidates with relevant professional office experience will also be considered.  Salary is negotiable but please note the range that is considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

Calendar management for court-related and other critical deadlines.
Maintaining regular communication with clients regarding case filings.
Office administration tasks, including inventory management of office supplies.
Handling incoming and outgoing mail correspondence.
Scheduling client meetings and coordinating logistical arrangements.
Facilitating court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
Assisting in the onboarding of new clients and managing file closures upon case completion.
Arranging travel arrangements as necessary.
Providing support during hearings, including document preparation and online submission.
Managing records requests to municipalities and overseeing responses.
Initiating court filings for new cases.
