Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Paralegal
Mesa, AZ

Busy Mesa firm specializing in bankruptcy, criminal/DUI and Family law is looking for a chapter 13 bankruptcy paralegal. Duties will include: 

1) Input and prepare bankruptcy Chapter 7 and 13 petitions utilyzing Best Case bankruptcy software;

2) Filing petitions and emergency petitions;

3) Prepare and file necessary amendments to petitions; 

4) Preparation and filing of chapter 13 repayment plans, as well as amended or modified Chapter 13 Plans;

5) Preparing/reviewing and filing other documents; 

6) Calendaring court dates and hearings, maintain calendar, files and service of chapter 13 deadlines;

7) Drafting all forms of communication with various creditors, Trustees and clients;

8) Prepare responses to various litigation matters, such as motions to dismiss, motions for relief from stay, motions to avoid lien, and motions to extend the stay;

9) Assist clients with case questions and problems;

10) Maintain communication with clients, Trustees and Courts;

11) Prepare and file documents via ECF;

12) Prepare and review cases for hearings with attorney.

Must have Chapter 13 bankruptcy experience.
