ROLE OVERVIEW AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the CFO, the
Vice President, Investor Relations, is
accountable for leading our external relationship and communications to investors, analysts and other key external stakeholders, serving as a key spokesperson to the investment community. In close partnership with the CEO and CFO, the VP, Investor Relations will develop plans, tools and strategies to communicate the company’s operational and financial objectives and establish realistic expectations for the company’s future performance.
This person will be responsible for operationalizing and maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness all Investor Relations activities, including but not limited to:
Gather data and interpret trends related to Dentsply Sirona’s peer group, providing actionable conclusions to management on these trends. Provide other competitive intelligence from network of investment community contacts.
Prepare Board-level reports as required on the performance of the stock/debt, market activity, key customer and competitor financial metrics, and industry news and developments.
Coordinate and control the release of all financial and public information
Lead environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) Effectively engage with internal leaders and stakeholders to institutionalize the company’s overall approach to ESG, which includes driving strong engagement on ESG across all businesses and being the subject matter expert/thought leader in advancing ESG solution initiatives.
The Investor Relations Leader (VP) acts as a proactive agent of change and will research, lead, and deploy best practices in
their area of responsibility and provide strategic recommendations based on sound data analysis.
Develop investor confidence and belief in the Company’s vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value
Develop a robust investor relations strategy and framework
Create and manage a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external stakeholders
Manage equity research and investor relationships
Provide insights on market activities and proactively present them to the leadership team
Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and any other items that could impact the business
Oversee and manage quarterly earnings and conference calls
Partner with Legal to ensure compliance on regulatory matters
Assist in preparation of company’s Annual Report and 10-K
LEADERSHIP & OTHER BEHAVIOURAL REQUIREMENTS

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex concepts, financial performance and strategic priorities into compelling messaging for external audiences
Minimum 10 years of relevant Finance experience preferred; 5 years experience in Investor Relations in large, publicly traded, global organizations desired
Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry
Strong understanding of SEC laws and securities disclosure requirements, as well as filing requirements
A strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends
Demonstrated success in managing external relationships within the financial community, industry analysts, and institutional investors
MBA or other Masters’ degree in finance, accounting, or economics
A highly competitive compensation package will be designed for the finalist inclusive of base salary, bonus, and long-term incentives.
