Job Description
UX Designer','21000DYW','','English','English','!*!UX Designer

We Are…
We are a world-wide team of designers and researchers pursuing innovative ways of building user-centered solutions that can scale over time.

We practice agile methodologies, preceded by research, design and planning phases
We move fast but take the time to innovate, brainstorm, and explore
We feel the best solutions usually come from highly collaborative teams
We move forward by bridging experience design with product management and engineering at every step of the process.
We practice design thinking and iteratively craft our solutions based on customer research and testing

Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a talented UX Designer to join our Experience Design Team in Brno. Focusing on our design system, you’ll strengthen our ability to innovate and standardize our user experience.

Working with designers and product managers, you’ll establish best practices in interactions and design innovative new experiences for the next generation of our User Interaction Framework and user experiences.

On any given day you could spend time working on a new component, creating design patterns, developing usage guidelines, or consulting with other designers on how to get the best out of our UI framework. You’ll work collaboratively across multiple workgroups within the XD team to evolve the use of components, patterns, documentation and constantly improve our design system. Relying on your innate set of user-centered design principles, you’ll produce high-quality experiences—from concept to execution.

The ideal candidate focuses on delivering rich customer experiences that help tell the user experience story.

You are a relationship builder and are comfortable working with designers of all levels and capabilities, incorporating ideas and inspiration from multiple sources. You will adapt the visual design across our products and will uphold brand standards and consistency where required.

What You’ll Do

Hands-on creative problem solving in a cloud-driven enterprise software system.
Organize and provide clarity around components, artifacts, patterns and guidelines.
Work with a multi-disciplined UX team of designers, user researchers and product managers in a fast-paced, dynamic, agile environment.
Produce high-quality design deliverables, incorporating high standards of usability and simplicity that communicate design solutions and facilitate discussion.
Contribute to the internal communication of detailed design and design rationale, both verbally and visually.
Present design alternatives and effectively communicate rationale and trade-offs.
Share your work and be open to trade-offs and collaborative, constructive feedback.
Manage and prioritize multiple projects of varying timelines and degrees of complexity and scope.
Demonstrate a passion for iteration and receiving feedback.
Create non-formulaic solutions and different approaches to varied challenges.
Keep communication flowing by bringing feedback from customers to the team and taking team questions back to customers.

Degree in product design, UX design, UI design, human factors, human computer interaction or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 2 years working in the field of UX/UI design, OR an advanced HCI/Design degree.
Experience with “big data software” a huge plus. We need a self-starter who can take a bit of directional input and then take off.
Online portfolio demonstrating your problem-solving ability: problem analysis, personas, scenarios, user journeys, sketches, wireframes, prototypes, task flows or other relevant design artifacts.
A positive and resilient personality. You must be able to embrace feedback and have a desire for continuous iteration and improvement.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexibility to work with geographically distributed teams.
Experience working in agile development methodology is a plus.
Experience with design systems is a plus.
Experience working on software applications.
