As a Customer Planning Coordinator – Entry Level, you will be responsible for customer service, order servicing, production planning, material procurement and inventory management of customer finished good products.
This is an exciting entry-level role where direct customer service, attention to detail, and fast response times are invaluable in supporting PPG's Business-to-Business customers. Training is provided to those who met qualification and with an excellent can-do attitude, willingness to learn, good computer proficiency, and self-time-management.
Key Responsibilities:
Support numerous customer plant accounts and/or suppliers accounts in a fast-paced office environment.
Exercise excellent customer service, production planning, purchasing, logistics and inventory management techniques.
Timely respond to and resolve customer and field complaints, including root cause analysis and implementation of effective corrective actions.
Meet the demands of the customer's on-time delivery requirements in support with achieving the Plant’s assigned goals.
Consistently support the on-time manufacturing of products to maintain designated product inventory levels, minimize recoverable assets,
Interact consistently, support, and communicate timely with PPG teams including: Sales, Technical, Production, Quality Assurance, Distribution, Purchasing, and the Field.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or similar is preferred.
Equivalent experience of an Internship, CO-OP, or roughly 1 year of experience in business, operations, or production planning.
APICS Certification is desired but not required.
Excellent Organizational Skills, Customer Service Skills, Attention to Detail, and Time-Management Skills.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities of multiple ongoing projects/orders/accounts.
Excellent proficiency with both verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient computer skills; excel, word, outlook.
Data Analytics skills is desirable.
Not Required, but Ideally training or experience with software such as SAP, Oracle, SharePoint, Order Servicing, Production Planning, MSProject, Inventory Management, Business Intelligence, or OTM.
