Supplier Domain Steward
Purpose of the role:
This individual will serve as both a subject matter expert (SME) for Supplier Domain Master Data, as well as Junior supervisor to a team of Supplier Domain Administrators. In this role, they will be required to help guide the team in the resolution of Vendor master data challenges, coordinate the team’s daily activities, track adherence to standards and quality, and support the team members’ professional development. As such, the role will require and individual with good people management, project management, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Support and ensure end-to-end supplier onboarding process
Supervision, motivation and support of the Vendor Master Data team
Responsible for coordination of daily activities within the team of Master data administrators
Distribution of work tasks among the individual team members, providing them with support and guidance to resolve nonstandard transactions and issue
Be the main point of contact when transitioning new processes, capabilities, and functions into the Master Data scope and training of new employees
May require some hands-on master data processing in the MDM Tool to support the Master Data Administrators team
Responsible for handling inquiries and coordinating with business partners in EMEA (primarily procurement) to resolve issues and challenges related to processing of Master Data requests in MDM Hub for multiple DS locations
Support the creation and expansion of the Master Data Team to support the business needs as they adapt. This includes coordinating with the Global Master Data Lead to understand requirements, interviewing potential candidates, and onboarding new team members as hired
Responsible for coordinating with Global Master Data Lead and the Supplier Domain Owner as new business requirements are identified. This includes supporting new projects, identifying changes required to processes, team structure, etc.
Responsible for providing of monthly and /or ad hoc reports according yto the defined structure and requirements of the manager
Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities:
50% US shift working time is required for this possition
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Experience with implementing actions to remediate deficiencies.
Strong process background and experience in P2P (Procure to Pay), O2C (Order to Cash) or R2R (Record to Report).
ERP knowledge of SAP, Movex and AX (preferred)
Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Audit
English - Advanced (C1), any other language is an advantage
Min 2 years related experience in
Shared Services Center or Business Process Outsourcing environment particularly in Finance
or Audit
