Job Description
Title: Supervisor, Client Services and Service Desk
Reporting to the Global IT Operations Director, this role will supervise and lead the customer-focused Client Support/Service Desk staff to provide workstation (high performance/desktop/laptop) computing hardware (HW), productivity software (SW), operating system (OS) & peripherals focusing on incident resolution, service request fulfillment, client relationship and asset management services.
Key Responsibilities:
o
Sustain a team culture of
outstanding customer orientation and desire to restore and enable client productivity; drive resolution and fulfillment time to a minimum
o
Communicate effectively and efficiently with technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of organization; utilize appropriate communication channels for given situations; employ a range of communication styles and techniques; be recognized as an authority for client relationship management
o
Participate in development of Client Services strategy, roadmap, goals and objectives
o
Participate in preparation of budgets and financial analyses; manage contract labor spend and resources
o
Dependably produce high quality work results with a sense of urgency while maintaining a high level of focus on detail, exactness and completeness
o
Promote a teamwork-oriented environment within Client Support and Service Desk teams
Basic Qualifications:
o
Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience or 7 years of experience in lieu of a Degree.
Professional Skills/Experience:
o
Demonstrated management experience leading staff; minimum 5 years’ experience in customer service roles and 3 years management experience
o
Demonstrated strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills; ability to transform technical architectures, policies and documentation into knowledge content, training & reference materials and client communication & frequently asked questions (FAQs) suitable for on-technical audiences
o
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment; handle pressure, deadlines and stressful or emotionally charged situations well; adapts to and manages multiple changing priorities
o
Broad exposure and familiarity with information technologies in corporate and manufacturing business environments
o
Experience working with or supporting MS Windows 10 & MS Office Suite 2013/2016
o
Preferred Skills/Experience:
o
Intermediate/Advanced language proficiency with Portuguese (Brazil) and/or Spanish
o
Experience supporting HP workstations & printers
o
Experience working with IT Service Management systems; specifically with MS Service Manager
o
Experience working with IT Asset Management systems, specifically with Provance IT Asset Management
o
Experience working with Knowledge Bases, specifically MS Service Manager and/or SharePoint
o
Oil & Gas industry experience
o
Advanced management degree is a plus
o
Familiarity with ITIL Service Management frameworks; ITIL v3 Foundation certification
