onsemi is looking for a self-driven and motivated professional to join their POE (Product Optimization Engineering) team, located in Meridian, ID. As an Imaging Data Science Intern, you will help support yield improvement activities on our high volume CMOS image sensor products using data management and visualization to identify and solve problems quickly. The POE team is an exciting and fast-paced team that makes a positive impact on the Intelligent Sensing business group while interacting with teams from all over the world.
This opportunity will ask a student to have the following performance objectives:
• Create and Enhance tools to organize business data in clear and actionable ways for use with multiple teams.
Examples include:
o Tools to help the organization achieve monthly and quarterly operational metrics.
o Tools to troubleshoot yields, performance concerns, and quality issues.
• Collaboratively meet with POE leadership on a weekly basis to review and set project goals with a successful completion rate of 100%.
','!*!In order to be considered for an internship, you must be a student currently enrolled in school pursuing an accredited degree program. This position is specifically looking for a BS/MS in a Data Science or related field.
• Good spoken and written English skills for communicating with team members at various domestic and international sites.
• Qualified candidates will be self-motivated with the ability to work independently, customer service oriented attitude, and a wiliness to learn.
• Excellent statistical data analysis skills are required, with demonstrated use of statistical software (ie. JMP, R, Excel, etc).
