That’s because our Business Development Sales team takes care to forge strong and insightful relationships with them. To gain understanding of the unique and changing factors that drive purchasing decisions, the team develops connections at all levels of a client’s business. They use their insight to identify and create new opportunities – and to build the business development strategies that underpin successful sales. As well as maximizing revenue, they take responsibility for accurate forecasts.Key Responsibilities The Strategic Programs Capture Manager identifies the resources needed to pursue a strategic Federal opportunity, oversees the bid strategies, teaming agreements, pricing and proposal strategy. In addition, manages the transition from business opportunity to proposal development to award.Essential Requirements o   Acquires new strategic programs contract vehicles or task orders in key segment defined initiatives.o   Executes against measurable/quantifiable objectives.o   Identifies Hardware, Software & Service Providers to address strategic initiatives.o   Develops sellable solutions to address targeted initiatives within Dell EMC.o   Serves as a subject matter expert on named Strategic Programs.o   Serves as liaison to key partners on named Strategic Programs.o   Supports training and engagements of sales force to generate demand on targeted initiativeso   Articulates Dell EMC value proposition to maximize share of program scope.o   Brief executives and sales staff on program strategy, requirements and approach.o   Maintains awareness of competitorso   Cross functional planning and coordination across all LOBs and SABs in order to create winning solutions.o   Obtain line of sight and pipeline of strategic opportunitieso   Excellent command skills and executive presence.o   Strong verbal and written skillso   Ability to project a positive sales attitudeo   Strong organizational skillso   Ability to multi-tasko   Must be able to work remotely & independently with limited direct supervisiono   Able to understand technical information, make rational decisions and work well under pressure.o   Must have proven success in driving results and building effective teams.o   Strong knowledge of IT industry, Federal customers & procurement practices.Experience:Bachelor’s Degree of higherMinimum of 8 years of related experienceBackground working with Federal System Integrators is preferred.Federal experience requiredPrior Business Development experience a plus.Must be a US Citizen**** Position has a requirement of 3 days onsite at client offices based in Reston, VA****BenefitsWe offer highly competitive salaries, bonus programs, world-class benefits, and unparalleled growth and development opportunities — all to create a compelling and rewarding work environment.If you’re keen to drive our revenue growth as a trusted adviser to exciting clients, this is your opportunity to develop with Dell.Dell is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
