Senior Systems Engineer

Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. Currently, ManTech is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to provide support for the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR). The candidate will support the execution of EOIR’s Enterprise Architecture strategy by providing support for daily operational needs and will assist in the planning, engineering and execution of EOIR projects and initiatives. The candidate will also support contingency planning activities and respond to EOIR requests for documentation, reports, and data collection.
The FSS Division provides cyber solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. Our contributions to our customer’s success is driving our growth.
Candidate must have 12 years of experience in Information Technology and able to provide engineering and operational support for the following:
Azure Cloud System Architecture/Design, including Power Shell Management, Network Security Group Management and template deployment for an environment supporting 3000 users.
Experience designing and configuring both physical and virtual networks.
Experience designing, deploying, and managing Windows 2012 and 2016 server technologies, including Hyper-V.
Experience deploying and managing Windows Server 2012 and 2016 clustering capabilities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and significant experience providing in-person technical briefings for executive audiences.
Experience with VMware vSphere and vCenter 5.5 and above. Familiarity with VMWare Site Recovery Manager for Disaster Recovery
Experience creating and updating SOPs and comprehensive technical documentation for all systems listed above.
Excellent time management and task management abilities, must be able to plan and execute complex interdependent activities across both IT systems and people-based processes.
Proven ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Experience with Windows 2016 Active Directory and Power Shell Scripting
Ability to multi-task on operational issues in a group environment.
Proven record of identifying and implementing efficiencies in support of the customer.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field is preferred, but not required.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain DOJ Public Trust Clearance
Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and ten to twelve years of related experience or Master’s degree (in an engineering discipline) and seven to nine years of experience.
