The Senior Business Manager, Sales Execution works directly with Sales Leadership to streamline processes and develop tools that empower our field-based Product Specialists and Sales Leadership to succeed. By identifying needs and gathering feedback from Area Directors and Regional Business Managers, the Sales Execution Manager partners with not only Sales Leadership and Product Sales but also Sales Operations, Marketing, Training, Communications, and CRM teams to build resources and eliminate bottlenecks. The Sales Execution manager is responsible for ensuring that our teams communicate effectively, work strategically, have the data and information they need and are well positioned to win.
Work cross functionally to understand and provide guidance on sales empowerment resources such as expense allowances, education budgets, and demonstration products.
Partner closely with Sales Operations / CRM teams to develop and implement data resources and territory management tools, including but not limited to SFDC and Oracle Business.
Provide feedback on, and assist in the management of, a wide range of specific mission critical sales execution project and initiatives
Build communications platforms that enable high levels of understanding and engagement.
Act as a leader among peers by modeling appropriate behaviors and serving as a strategic resource for varied members of the organization across many functions.
Gathers data and feedback from sales and leadership to identify needs and create solutions.
Creates resources to ensure appropriate and consistent communication mechanisms.
Other duties as may be assigned
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Years and Type of Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of business leadership experience preferably in a role with strategic, problem solving, and analytic components.
Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities:
High business acumen
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Proficiency with programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Project management planning and administration experience
Ability to work in a high energy environment where resiliency and timely turnaround of quality work is essential
Proven ability to identify and execute process improvement initiatives.
Proven ability to exercise sound independent judgment
Ability to interact with multiple personalities and maintain a professional demeanor required.
Ability to influence behaviors without direct management structures.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and identify process improvements.
