Deliver high-impact, interactive, and consistent training solutions for field leadership and directors and Sales Development Partners(SDP) to increase their competence, confidence, and commitment in serving customers and achieving business success
Deliver and facilitate training programs which include formal classroom training, eLearning, live-virtual training programs, and small-group training events in the Field
Maintain the highest level of professionalism, inclusive and respective work environment in all training settings. Enforce code of conduct and other standards.
Set up, maintain, and organize training supplies, equipment, simulators, and tools to ensure quality-learning experiences for current and future training participants.
Deliver virtual training classes
Implement and support new and innovative classroom and development processes and technology to provide a world-class training experience.
Field Coaching & Certification
Proactively coach individual and small-group Field Leaders and SDP’s to improve their on-the-job performance
Ensure tight linkage between training, coaching, field activities, and Aveda strategic business priorities
Document field coaching activities and facilitate timely and transparent communication between training, associates and supervisors
Observe on-the-job performance and certify Field Leaders and SDP based on consistent standards
Assist in the development of training curriculum and materials
Collaborate with key stakeholders (such as Global education, Marketing, RD&E, etc) and other training team members to prioritize, design and develop training curriculum and assessments
Update curriculum materials based on evolving business needs and training participants’ needs
New Program Deployment
Participate in test and implementation activities for new programs in order to build expertise and develop training curriculum in support of new program deployment
Collaborate with key stakeholders to deploy new program training solutions for the Field
Collaboration, Teamwork & Professional Development
Collaborate with key stakeholders and training team members to prioritize training needs, develop/deploy training solutions, and evaluate training effectiveness
Involve relevant stakeholders to identify process gaps and develop process improvement solutions
Spot new training trends in the market and conduct competitive reviews and determine appropriate action
Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Suite, Articulate eLearning tools, SharePoint, Learning Management Systems or other related talent technology and social collaboration tools
Exceptional live and virtual presentation skills including the ability to present to varying audience sizes
Experience with current and emerging instructional design principles and learner-centered design methodologies with a demonstrated application through innovative learning experiences
Ability and passion for creating modern, visually appealing content for today’s learners that is aesthetically pleasing and easy to consume including PowerPoint, job aids, digital content, eBooks, eLearning, etc.
Strong leadership skills including strategic planning and an entrepreneurial business approach
An entrepreneurial spirit including the ability to make decisions as if the business were one’s own
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business dictates including evenings and weekends as needed
Ability to travel, lift up to 30 pounds occasionally and to transport own luggage while traveling
Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
Ability to manage numerous competing priorities in a fast paced environment
