As a member of the Oracle Sales Academy (OSPA) organization, your role is to deliver training focused on Oracle sales methodology, sales skills, Oracle sales tools and product/solutions to Oracle sales, sales management and sales engineering audiences.
The Sales Performance Training Instructor role is for those who have an interest in exceeding customer satisfaction targets by delivering quality Instructor Led Training (ILT) both in person and virtually. Training instructors are team players and act as subject matter experts in sales. They have demonstrated success in sales and sales management positions and the ability to work with sales performance instructional designers and line of business (LOB) leaders to facilitate training content development. Trainers are expected to continually develop and maintain subject knowledge and expertise for all designated training topics, plus additional, complementary topics and/or best practices for classroom facilitation.
As a member of the Oracle Sales Academy team, s/he will serve as a resource for training, mentoring, and certification of other instructors and related tasks. Those who are successful demonstrate superior presentation, communication, and writing skills with the ability to maintain consistent and engaging delivery of course material.  You will be expected to maintain high learner satisfaction scores on class surveys.  You will be required to achieve instructor certification in a minimum of 3 different Oracle training programs, methodology and skills courses.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Passion for sales, skills, process and methodology training
Sales and sales management expertise–7 years’ experience
Technology/application sales - selling to both IT and LOB buyers
Experience with Oracle applications and technology is a bonus
Understanding of inside, high velocity selling environment—customer buying, sales process and methodology
Sales enablement training and coaching experience—4 years’ experience
Demonstrates ability to credibly deliver content to various LOB’s and skill sets
Commands presence and adapts communication style to fit and engage the audience
Ensures successful delivery of training engagements with a high level of learner satisfaction
Works well under pressure, is able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and meet established deadlines
Is a team player, encourages participation and is willing to offer help where needed
Works with confidence, uses excellent judgement and understands when to bring in additional resources
Demonstrates ability to learn new and often complex business requirements quickly and effectively
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effectively manages time and priorities to meet requirements of LOB’s
Exercises judgement, initiative, and discretion when providing and delivering training
Superior presentation, communication and writing skills
Proficiency in MS Office:  Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
Preferred Experience and Education:
·        Experience in Technology/Application Sales & Sales Management
·        B.A. or B.S. ','!*!Responsible for delivering training on Oracle methodologies or product/solutions to sales and sales consulting personnel. Ensures successful delivery of training engagements with a high level of satisfaction. Provides sales or Oracle domain expertise in one or more skills or solution areas. Work with Sales, Product Marketing, Product Development and other counterparts to facilitate training content development and delivery. Become the knowledge expert on areas of delivery.Facilitate meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction targets by delivering quality training in classroom environments and or over the Web. Maintain deep knowledge and skill level while demonstrating expertise for all designated topics, plus additional, complementary topics and/or best practices. Articulate at a granular level a respective concept or solution*s vision, capabilities, business value during offerings to both sales and sales consulting audiences. Consult/work with Subject Matter Experts, Sales Performance Designers, etc., in order to deliver the material in an effective and engaging way. Provide analysis and feedback on training events to program teams or management regarding training results. Meet or exceed utilization expectations. Successfully manage the training environment while reporting and resolving issues. Act as subject-matter expert when called upon for curriculum development. Provide mentoring, certification of other instructors and related leadership tasks.Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Recognized as a subject-matter expert within Oracle. Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills. Ability to multi-task and superior time-management skills. Ability to handle diverse groups of employees, including an international audience. Ability to establish credibility and create confidence quickly and easily. Excellent organization and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Maintain high student satisfaction scores on post-class surveys. Instructor certification in 3 or more different Oracle products/skill courses. Teaches in special situations such as custom courses for specific audiences (Oracle Direct versus Global Business Unit versus Alliances & Channels. Possesses broad industry knowledge. Business travel of up to 75 percent annually may be expected of this position. Typically at least 8 years of experience with 7 years of sales or sales consulting experience, 4 years of experience teaching at Oracle or another company.
