Are you up to the challenge?

Assist with the research, analysis, development and implementation of strategic action plans to accelerate the achievement of long and short-term SEO objectives for the autos vertical.
Understand the major factors influencing organic search, crawling, indexing, and keyword ranking to help increase our search visibility and rankings.
Conduct fundamental SEO activities: keyword research/ranking/gap analysis, competitive site/serp analysis, SEO-friendly copywriting, sitewide audits, crawl analysis, identify technical issues, improve site health and QA.
Help drive the SEO direction for major site changes, product launches, design updates and SEO/user optimizations.
Work closely with SEO lead, product, developers, editorial and designers to drive SEO plans
Research and put together SEO strategies for new growth opportunities, site/content updates, new products and redesigns.
Create tickets for developers (via jira), QA changes on staging environments and follow tickets through to production.
Track site performance and traffic to identify any issues or trends.
Keep up with the auto industry landscape, SEO best practices, algorithm changes to inform SEO strategies and tactics, and help identify new growth opportunities.

POSITION REEQUIREMENTS 

You should definitely have:

Minimum of 3 years of SEO working on a medium to large scale consumer-facing site.
Well-rounded SEO that is comfortable working in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to optimize content, product pages and inventory to improve traffic, search rankings and user experience.
Good working knowledge of leveraging Google Search Console and Google Analytics to track performance, report on traffic and help improve search performance.
Must have good communication skills, an analytical mind, good with priority management, be adaptable and collaborative.
2 years of working with content management systems.
Experience working with popular keyword tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, Searchmetrics etc.
Self-motivated and able to work independently but also be a team player.

It would be nice if you had:

2 years of working with content management systems.
A good understanding of a webpage’s basic code building blocks such as XML, HTML, CSS, Meta Data.
An in-depth experience with Excel/Google Sheets/Data Studio, with the ability to aggregate data from various sources in a consolidated view.
