For someone who is ambitious and wants to make their mark in a large multinational company we can offer a key role in PPG, be at the heart of the PPG SAP solutions area and have a say in key decisions that affect the entire company.
Key Responsibilities
This position requires broad expertise across the SAP BASIS Domain with skills in a variety of technologies such as ABAP JAVA systems, S/4, HANA ASE databases, SAPGUI FIORI front end environments, and related system and security configuration activities, monitoring and issue handling.
In this role you will be required to develop/implement/supervise technical/business solutions based on user requirements analysis.
Propose, configure, document and unit test technical/business solutions according to the functional and technical requirements adhering to SAP standard and our PPG standards as closely as possible.
You will be required potentially to work on our SAP systems (e.g. ECC, S4, EWM) linked to EMEA and USCA and APAC regions for supporting any emergency and available in PPG on-call rotation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
5 years of experience in SAP BASIS activities.
Played a SAP BASIS Consultant role in ECC or S/4 implementations.
Your knowledge of SAP must include:
System and security configuration, (performance) monitoring and issues handling at the level of: ABAP/JAVA, S/4, HANA, FIORI, SAPGUI.
Understanding SAP’s technical model and toolset available at the various levels
We need you to be an outstanding self-starter with a dedication to delivering high quality work in pressurized environments.
Hands-on mentality. Analytical skills.
Be comfortable working independently in a “remote working” organization.
Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including technical writing.
Nice to have Requirements:
Experience with SAP Solution Manager.
Managing changes, transports and incidents.
System Preparation / Basic Configuration.
System Monitoring / Solution Documentation.
Participation in S/4 implementation as a BASIS Consultant.
Basic understanding of SAP’s functional model and related transactions.
Experience with SAP systems hosted at SAP HEC or other cloud vendors.
