Your Opportunity Schwab Advisor Services is the leading provider of custodial, operational and trading support for independent fee-based investment advisors. If you\u2019re interested in working to help grow the business of independent investment advisor firms, there\u2019s a place for you at Charles Schwab Advisor Services.  The Regional RM Support Specialist is the front line of the regional office for our advisors in answering questions and provide consulting on important advisor functions.  In addition, this position requires the RSS to: Provide the highest level of support to existing Schwab Advisor Services clients; Keep clients abreast of products and services that will help their practices and build their relationship with Schwab; Actively seek and develop new client relationships as well as seek to increase Schwab's custodial role with existing relationships.  What you are good at Sales Support \u2013 Strategic support of the sales process and activity within the region or territory. Sales management support with the MD Ensure sales funnel is current and accurate Act as thought partner and co-driver for regional sales initiatives Partner with MD to develop agenda and facilitate sales team meetings Ensure RMs KPI data is current and accurate Collaborate with RM regarding client meeting follow-up/fulfillment Meeting preparation \u2013 including production of sales materials Event planning & Execution - (partnering with sponsors and event managers, invites, tracking, evaluations etc.). Attendance at some events required. Distribute and collect client agreements for pricing and benefit offer delivery. Consult with firms on benefit offer and the invoice submission process Build active relationships with internal service partners to jointly deliver outstanding client service.   Assist RM in sales process  Attend joint meetings with RM and Advisor as needed Help RM through the Discovery and Solutions process with the RIA Help RM develop and execute Strategic plans Assist RM with Salesforce request submission if needed. Including pricing promo requests, HH account, CSG and others Assist with Benchmarking results - set meetings and order materials Research and provide up to date information on industry/firm/relationship changes to the sales team. Provide relevant firm information and industry info for RMs to leverage in the sales process Consult with advisors regarding branding options and additional firm level changes or addendums. Obtain documents to facilitate change or add addendums and work with internal partners to execute. Manage the Mergers and Acquisition process for the advisor in collaboration with the RM and M&A team Act as regional expert regarding firms\u2019 master structure. Consult on purpose and function as well as submit requests   General Office Management   Office management \u2013 including real estate on site contact, supply ordering, UPS, facilitating copying/binding, and new employee set up Track MyQ work requests  Coordination and submission of compliance reporting requirements Log gifts Start the monthly and annual EOS report (attaching correspondence, complaints, business cards, designations etc.) Log all complaints into the CAT wizard Prepare reports for the region in a timely manner Margin Reports Master Account reports Event Reports Holiday Card RM assignments (for Service Teams) Quarter-end reporting SAN Reports \u2013 SAN-2-001 (Branch Reports) and SAN-3-050 (12 month rolling) Overall management of the region or territory activity What you have Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent work experience preferred FINRA Series 7 and 63 Licenses (Condition of employment)   2 years financial services experience required, Schwab Advisor Services operations preferred Experience in client service or sales support roles required Strong client service skills with ability to anticipate and resolve problems with own initiative Knowledge of Schwab products and services and brokerage industry including operations and trading Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong PC skills in MS office applications including EXCEL and PowerPoint are required Well organized with good time-management skills
