Your Opportunity As part of the branch network\u2019s team of experts, the primary objective of the Regional Investment Strategists is to support our branch Financial Consultants in growing, retaining, and deepening relationships with high net worth/Ultra High Net worth self-directed traders & investors. The team focuses on supporting Schwab\u2019s Modern Wealth Management initiatives by partnering with Regional Wealth Management Consultants and Financial Consultants to educate their self-directed clients on critical wealth management issues, our capabilities for investors and how Schwab can help them meet their financial needs. Our Regional Investment Strategists cover local and virtual branches throughout the country and work closely with their Regional Market Executive, Branch Managers, Regional Wealth Management Consultants, Financial Consultants, and their clients/prospects. What you are good at The Regional Investment Strategist works as a relationship manager, sales leader, and educator. The successful candidate is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive regional business plan to grow the business by focusing on a positive client experience. The Regional Investment Strategist partners with our branches to educate clients through individual meetings and local/virtual branch events. This person will meet sales and other business objectives and act as an adviser to branch financial consultants and management. The Regional Investment Strategist is responsible for contributing to the strategic development and tactical implementation of group relationship and sales initiatives. This position requires significant travel within the assigned regional market (50% ), the Mid-Atlantic, which includes Washington, DC, Philadelphia, and the surrounding area (within company/local COVID guidelines).   The successful candidate should have experience working with cross-functional teams. Individuals in this role frequently present to groups of clients, Financial Consultants, and Branch Managers to demonstrate market and product knowledge. The Regional Investment Strategists must possess excellent communication, time, and consulting skills. They must have the passion and drive necessary to deliver outstanding client satisfaction and robust business development results.   Responsibilities include: 1-1 consultations with high value Trading Services clients and prospects to grow and support relationships Conduct in-branch and virtual educational seminars that showcase Schwab\u2019s Trading expertise and capabilities Help FCs uncover unaddressed wealth management issues during meetings with their high value self-directed traders and investors Build and sustain exceptional working relationships with Regional Market Executive, Branch Managers, Regional Wealth Management Consultants, Financial Consultants, and key partners to build a customized Trading Services High Net Worth growth and client retention strategy for your Region. Conduct impactful Branch Manager, FC and AFC meetings to support the skills to grow & retain Trading Services High Net Worth clients and prospects. What you have Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent work related experience  Active and valid FINRA Series 7 required  Active and valid FINRA Series 63 required  Active and valid FINRA Series 3 is a plus but is not required  Active and valid FINRA Series 9/10 preferred, but not required  5 year\u2019s sales experience in the Active Trader, Securities, and/or Financial Services industry  Extensive knowledge of technical and fundamental analysis, sophisticated trading strategies, risk management, active trader products, services, software, and the brokerage industry.  Must possess a proven background in education and/or public speaking  Excellent interpersonal, motivational, communication, organizational, decision-making and leadership skills  Strong written and oral communication skills
