Production Supervisor','JOBREQ1800066860','United States of America-Arkansas-Alexander-USA - Little Rock Plant','Protective and Marine Ctgs','Full-time','','Apr 7, 2022','!*!As a Production Supervisor you will lead the daily operations of the Receiving Department and Rework Operations at the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Production Manager on functional responsibilities and the organization of the Little Rock Plant.
Lead and advise the efforts of employees to ensure the effective and efficient production and delivery of high-quality protective coatings.
Collaborate with the Production Coordinator and Operations Planning team to meet or exceed the production schedule.
Develop training materials and manage training documentation for team members.
Ensure compliance with PPG Policies & Procedures, i.e. Safety, EEO, HMIS, etc
Maintain a broad, effective work environment engaging all levels of operations.
Build and maintain housekeeping standards and 5S organization.
Continually look for ways to improve efficiency of related business processes.
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills as required, in part, by the successful completion of daily production summaries.
Effectively perform supervisory functions such as improving performance, resolving conflict, providing feedback, approving vacations and work hours, etc.
Other duties as assigned.

College education and/or proven experience in an industrial warehouse/manufacturing position.
Three to five years SAP experience. Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good organizational skills and written & verbal communication skills.
