Responsibilities   This role will require the individual to be comfortable working side by side with machinists and running machines.   Create Manufacturing Plans  Develop estimates for time and resources to machine a part Create work instructions  Create Tool lists and Fixtures Creating machine programs Create engineering change actions Work with operators to solve problems and make improvements Evaluating current machining operations and improving them to save time and/or improve quality Implement new technology and techniques to achieve and maintain world class performance. Qualifications 3-5 years' experience as a Manufacturing Engineer 4-year Engineering degree a plus Hands on experience operating and programming CNC machines; hands on experience with Lathe, Mill and conventional machining Experience machining parts Strong experience with Solidworks and Mastercam (must be able to create machine programs in G-Code) Manufacturing, Machining, and assembly experience Blue print reading and GD&T Developing the machining/production process to manufacture complex metal parts Lean techniques and practices Strong writing and analytic skills Blue print reading and GD&T Strong MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills Familiar with aerospace specifications a plus Aerospace experience a plus Team based problem solving
