Our Oak Plaza operation is comprised of the core enabling functions, including: Engineering, Research & Development, Program Management, Product Support, Strategic Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, Quality, Finance and Human Resources. Job Summary
The Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and communicating supply chain team deliverables on programs to ensure that materials and parts are available and released to meet certification, testing, marketing, and ship set #1 deadlines.  This position is central to driving the effectiveness of the SPG Long Lead Bill of Materials (LLBoM) process. 
Job Responsibilities
Represents the strategic supply chain at all LLBoM meetings and line schedule meetings.  Communicates key deliverables and milestone dates to strategic supply chain team
Drives the LLBoM commodity specific milestones into weekly program line schedules
Monitors line schedules and alerts supply chain managers of upcoming key milestone dates with respect to their commodities
Tracks LLBoM deliverables in phase gate and risk reviews, communicating all failed gates to vice president supply chain
Reports out monthly LLBoM process metrics
Aligns with the purchasing program managers in Kilkeel and Winston-Salem in tracking all program deliverables from Initial Technical Coordination Meeting (ITCM) through Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBoM)
Attends phase gate and risk review meetings; reports status of LLBoM deliverables on behalf of strategic sourcing
Supports management of day to day responsibilities of strategic buyers
Administers the SPG Margin Improvement Projects process (power steering)
Develops PowerPoint presentations
Manages Schneller/laminates suppliers for cost and program deliverables
Performs other related duties as required
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in Business or Engineering, and a minimum of five (5) years related experience in a sourcing environment and in a progam management setting, preferably in the Aerospace industry. MBA is preferred.
Must have proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and influence in a matrix organization
Demonstrated experience managing and leading people
Key Skills and Abilities
Must have demonstrated excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Intermediate to advanced Excel and database management proficiency
Prior experience in a leadership role where initiative has been used to deliver results in a structured manner
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, and to plan and schedule activities and programs
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Must be able to travel independently both domestically and internationally
