Position Overview: To coordinate and direct electrical labor, materials, and equipment to align with and support Plant 15 business goals and objectives.
Manage department’s Safety, Quality, Productivity; Cost performance.
Lead and develop a team consisting of approximately 18 full and part time Reliability Electricians of all skill levels.
Plan, schedule, and audit electrical labor to ensure work is completed on time and conforms to contract division electrical standards.
Evaluate associates for participation in the maintenance progression program.
Hold regular developmental meetings with electricians and ensure individual development plans are in place for each.
Establish goals for the department and implement; champion projects as necessary to ensure performance aligns with goals.
Analyze data pertaining to performance, turnover, costs, etc.
Participate in presentations to report out electrical maintenance performance.
In conjunction with Human Resources, manage the hiring, discipline and termination processes for the department.
Ensure associate and management level issues are handled in a timely manner and ensure resolution is communicated to all parties involved.
Understand and Support all SAFE, SMS, TPM, and Environmental Efforts within the department. Develop and implement plans to improve these areas where performance is under goal.

Coach & Support
High School Diploma/GED required, 2-4 year degree in electrical field preferred.
5 years of electrical experience required.
3 years of management experience required.
Must be able to work on all shifts and weekends as required.
Must be able to communicate written and orally with individuals and large groups of people.
Must be able to use all software systems used by the department.
Must have an understanding of industrial electrical best practices and regulatory codes including NFPA70 and NFPA70E
Must be available for on call to support electricians.
Proficient in EZ Entry, MARS, Qlickview, Bizware, Kronos, Peoplesoft, Workday, and other Shaw software systems.
Involved in weekly planning meeting.
8 hour, day shift
