Upon completion of 6 months of on the job training

Drive Regional Education Strategy- Classroom, In-store, Digital & Social Needs / Internal and External

Identifies, leads and cultivates the regional strategies to drive essential skills in service, artistry and selling at POS within the training region. 
Lead and drive the development of Field Education Trainers to deliver excellence in execution for all education & training initiatives within classroom, in-store and on social & digital platforms to accelerate the service experience at POS.
Foster collaborative partnerships with Retail Operations staff to facilitate leadership training, service, artistic and product training for all Managers and M·A·C Artists.
Design strategic and comprehensive quarterly regional education strategy to incorporate Basic Training, M∙A∙C Update training, Train The Leader/Manager Update, SMC Basic Training, Update Go, Content Creation Days: Digital and Social Learning, In-Store Support (Wholesale & Retail), Skill Certification, Creative Workshops, Advanced Makeup Skill Certification, Skill Drill Boot Camps and Product Specialist Development.
Set an example for superior internal and external customer service and support customer service objectives.
Clearly communicate Customer service objectives to staff.
Drive education principles through social and digital engagement while fostering adoption and engagement of these platforms for all M∙A∙C staff.  This includes developing a strong partnership with Digital Learning Manager and leveraging the M∙A∙C digital learning platform (My M∙A∙C).
Collaboration with Director of Education on the excellence in execution and delivery of education and training of service, commercial & leadership, product knowledge, artistic skills, selling and M·A·C policies and procedures.
Lead strategic scheduling of trainings to meet the education and business objectives across retail and wholesale channels.
Drive education strategies that ensure M·A·C Artists meet or exceed the standards of M·A·C service skills, make-up skills, and product knowledge.

Design and implement succession planning strategies to identify future talent into Field Education Trainer position.
Help create and maintain a creative atmosphere of open and positive communication, professionalism and support at all times.

Employee Management

Support and collaborate with sales and operations field partners to recruit and hire the best training staff to meet M·A·C customer service experience standards.
Lead Regional Education & Training staff job orientation and induction and provide clarity to each team member on their role in achieving the vision, strategy, goals and strategic objectives through their understanding of regional expectation, policies, practices and standards.
Observe education staff delivering core and ancillary trainings (classroom, in-store & digital/social) to identify and facilitate on-going job specific development and training for education staff in facilitation skills, product knowledge, service/communication and artistic skills.
Help ensure all relevant human resources records are kept updated and confidential.
Complete Establish Phase, Mid-Year Check-Ins and Year-End PDP annual performance reviews for Field Education Trainers.
Provide clear, constructive feedback on a regular basis to regional education employees on their job performance.
Assist in ensuring the store environment is safe and that work practices are safe.
Help provide an atmosphere that motivates, encourages and challenges training staff to achieve excellence.
Monitor, manage and recommend developmental action to correct poor performance according to M·A·C progressive discipline policies for regional education staff.
Leverage and deploy Field Education Trainer talent in alignment with individual strengths to drive optimal business results across all training platforms and retail channels.
Drive and develop skill across Field Education Trainers to lead digital education and adoption and social engagement learning.
Ensure consistent and proper communication both internally and externally.

Employee Development

Lead and develop Field Education Trainers’ skill-set and alignment to effectively execute regional and market specific training strategies which support service, artistry and selling principles to drive education & business results.  
In partnership with Digital Education Manager, leverage Field Education Trainers’ skill set to create effective and engaging UGC creation for leverage on global and regional digital education platforms.
Assess regional training needs through strong collaboration with Executive Director of Education, regional/field business partners, and key performance indicators to evaluate opportunities to drive service, artistry & selling.  
Lead the regional education training strategy by administering, supervising and facilitating ongoing training programs to meet the needs of the M·A·C Artist across all channels and platforms.
Encourage and facilitate intra-regional exchange of training ideas to ensure consistent superior M·A·C training objectives.
Encourage and facilitate an environment of open exchange of ideas.
Complete special projects assigned by the Executive Director of Education and in collaboration with Digital Education Manager.

Financial Accountabilities

Ensure the timely submission and accuracy of credit card statements, expense reports.
Ensure regional needs and standards are met for training equipment, facilities and regional training assets.
Ownership in reviewing and tracking all regional education expenditures in accordance with departmental/regional budgets.
Ownership of training premises to ensure they are maintained, clean, functional and properly equipped.
Maintain security and control of training equipment materials within the training premises.

Retail, Wholesale, Retailer, Media and Fashion Events

Lead and discern the involvement and support of Field Education Trainers and  M·A·C teams for facilitating Retailer, Wholesaler, Retail, Marketing, Media and Viva Glam Fund related Events based on regional and strategic priorities.
Collaborate and align with all relevant departments and field business partners to help ensure the superior execution of all Retail, Retailer, and Wholesale, Marketing, Media and Viva Glam Fund events.
Collaborate with Executive Director of Education, field partners and key corporate departments to organize participation and presence in various aspects of M·A·C related fashion shows, Artist Relations and media events.
Assist in Retail, media and Retailer Events as appropriate.


Assist in acting as an M·A·C spokesperson and ensure that accurate and current company related information is presented to the media via television, radio, magazine or newspaper.

Field & Regional Insights

Provide highly viable feedback and regional insights to VP, Education North America and Executive Director of Education to drive ideation and strategy in service experience, makeup artistry, skill development, key product categories, selling skills, launch sell-through, in person, digital and virtual education to inform future education and field strategies.   
Act as a liaison between and retail staff as well as sales & operations business partners to ensure all relevant ideas, potential challenges and best practices are presented and shared.
Immediately provide insights on staff feedback of products during M∙A∙C Update to better navigate potential challenges and opportunities with new products and launches prior to on counter date.

Exceptional leadership, training & facilitation skills.
Impeccable organizational skills, customer service orientation, public speaking skills and instructional training experience with a proven ability to drive results through educational strategies.
Strong capabilities in educational and digital content creation.
Ability to lead regional team and deployment of training team to meet quarterly education strategy across learning platforms and retail and wholesale channels.
Strong makeup artistry skill.
Ability to forecast training and education expenses in alignment with budgetary guidelines.
Must be versatile.
