Managing cybersecurity risks is a complex, multifaceted undertaking that requires the involvement of the entire
organization. This position helps ensure that IT systems in the CJOA-A can be used in a way that allows mission owners and operators to have confidence in the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their IT resources.
Comply with operational guidance from the AO, IAPM, and IAM.
Prepare and develop system or network security, accreditation, and certification documentation.
Advise and assist subordinate organizations in the preparation of RMF documentation, Connection Approval Process (CAP), Approval to Operate (ATO) requests for existing and proposed system or network changes.
Review submitted documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Advise the AO on risk potential for changes to the network as documented.
Maintain a repository for all organizational or system-level cybersecurity-related documentation, to include approved hardware and software for USFOR-A networks.
Develop risk mitigation documentation describing how to manage identified system or network risks.
Work with the appropriate Program Managers to ensure IA compliance for all systems requiring connection/access to the theater networks.
Coordinate with PM or POR representatives to ensure compliance with accreditation documentation and status.
Prepare and document all other required system and network accreditation, certification, and validation requests and packets, as required, for systems and networks operating within the USFOR-A AOR.
Provide policy guidance/recommendations to the USFOR-A AO as required.
Provide Certification and Accreditation (C&A) guidance for USFOR-A AOR.
Create and maintain approved Hardware/Software lists for the CJOA-A.
Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Five to seven years of related experience.
Must hold a DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III certification.
Requires a Top Secret security clearance.
Background must include (a) seven (7) years of IA management and technical experience AND (b) three (3) years of experience performing C&A associated duties.
