Job Title: Project Manager
Overall Objective
Need for a high energy, enthusiastic and agile leader who can successfully deliver value at pace via projects.
A Project Manager that can
lead
small to medium-sized projects on time, on budget and in scope using agile practices.
A versatile Project Manager that can lead initiatives into formal projects and act as the business analyst during this transition.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate to all levels of management as well as, persuade, negotiate and lead projects to desired timelines and budgets.
Primary Qualifications
BSc in Computer Science or IT related field
5 - 7 years of proven Project Management experience directly involved in small to medium projects in IT industry / field
PMP Certification an advantage
Fluent in English
Agile Project management methodology experience
Experience in a large ERP is a plus.
Core Responsibilities
Use agile methods to deliver projects and value at pace.
Lead and manage day to day operations alongside the project team and ensure project targets (scope, schedule, cost) are constantly monitored to ensure project delivery & success
Support team by leading up pre-project activities such as build a value based business case, gather initial requirements, select implementation vendors and build out project cost estimations.
Management of the product release schedule including assignment of resources, planning of deliverables and setting of milestones
Report project status on a regular basis to management, project teams and customers through internal and external status reports
Plan, facilitate, and champion effective Agile / Scrum practices including MoSCoW, backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning, stand ups, sprint demos and retrospectives
Collaborate with vendors/internal staff team to ensure successful delivery to the customer
Proactively manage project risks and issues providing appropriate issues escalation to the necessary levels
Initiating, recording, managing and resolving project issues and escalating when needed to the sponsors and Steering Committee as described in the project scope
Project reporting and summaries for management
Ensures scheduling milestones are achieved
Ensure effective team collaboration and communication
Participate in all phases of the development: from demand through design, implementation, debugging, and testing
Responsible for all project documentation control and formal communication
