: Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, Global Product Groups, the Human Resources Business Partner, Consumables is responsible for:
Implementing people strategies and solutions that support business-specific objectives
Lead initiatives supporting the business through increased collaborative trust, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and workforce productivity
Advocate and champion the HR service delivery model within the business
Identify opportunities to mitigate organizational people risk and increase HR process adherence
This position will be the primary business partner to the business leaders within the Consumables Product Group – including functional leaders in Marketing, Research and Development and Clinical Affairs. This is a global team with team members in the US, Germany, Switzerland, Italy as well as other countries in EMEA and APAC.
Lead initiatives to increase collaborative trust, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and workforce productivity
Build and implement people and business strategies that improve organizational effectiveness and drive business performance
Collaborate with and advise COE and HR Operations to integrate capabilities and align HR services to business needs
Lead and manage strategic organizational effectiveness, change, and workforce initiatives
Develop people plan and strategy for the business that is aligned with the overall HR strategic plan
Provides advice and counsel to the senior leadership across their area of responsibility.
Will ensure consistency of practice in the application of HR policies and procedures.
Provides support and oversight for compliance with global compensation program implementation within their business.
The HR BP works at the intersection of business and HR strategy. The following capabilities are critical for the role.
Workforce Solution Director - Work strategically with business leaders to identify and deploy creative workforce and talent focused solutions to key business challenges.
Strategic Consultant - Consult with the business on strategic organizational issues that contribute to the growth and competitiveness of the business.
Services Facilitator - Deep expertise of business needs and challenges used to drive the right level of localization.
Organization Effectiveness & Change Leader - Drive team, function and organizational performance while acting as a role model and leader for change.
Leadership Coach - Develop effective leaders and managers to execute against organizational talent needs.
Culture Champion - Advocate the organizational values and hold leaders accountable for the right behaviors.
Typical Background and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
Advanced degree preferred.
HR certification is preferred
Minimum of 7 years of HR experience with experience working with internal clients who are multi-site global teams.
Global Talent management
Organization design and restructuring experience
Executive Coaching skills
Change Management - leading changes as well as coaching client groups to better manage change.
Strong business partnering skills and business acumen.
Employee and labor relations - will require experience and an understanding of the complexity of HR with EU Works Councils and/or Unions depending on region.
