onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the Sales and Marketing team located in the Americas North Central(MN/IL/MI/IN/OH). As an FAE, you will be expected to support onsemi customers developing solutions for industrial and automotive applications. You will be working closely with the sales team and business units to drive new account opportunities and product strategies while building personal and trusting relationships with customer engineers and business unit stakeholders. Your focus is on collaborating with customers and solving their everyday challenges by being an expert in our market segments
-Support onsemi customers for automotive and industrial applications.
-Develop deep understanding of customers’ technical requirements, as well as translate system architecture requirements from customer specifications.
-Present onsemi technology, products and road maps to customers.
-Work closely and support business units on competitor analysis, market intelligence.
-Provide customers remote and on-site debug.
- Answer technical questions that come from our industry partners.
-Develop and establish strong cooperative relationships with the customers' engineering organization, as well as drive timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
-Grow opportunity funnel, drive revenue and Design Wins.
-BSEE or equivalent technical/industry knowledge preferred.
-Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry or equivalent technical knowledge/experience with strong knowledge of power semiconductors.
-Residence within the North Central Area.
-Ability to create block diagrams, solve customer’s technical problems, and communicate how our products apply/solve problems to customer’s applications.
-Proven track record of winning designs.
-Professional attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface directly with all levels of the customers' engineering organization.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to present data to all levels of a customer’s engineering organization in a detailed and professional manner.
-Ability to travel up to 50% -SiC experience/expertise preferred.
