ABOUT THE ROLE:

Pocket Concierge, a premier restaurant booking platform in Japan, is seeking an bilingual customer service specialist. This position will be a role to be a “bridge” between customer and restaurants at Pocket Concierge to make their experience the best.
This position belongs to Concierge team, and our Concierge team acts as a customer representative of restaurant at Pocket Concierge, includes some of Japan's leading restaurants and many of starred restaurants. Therefore, many people with experience as concierges at starred hotels are working actively in our team.

The position requires offline work about 3 days a weekday and work about 2 days on weekend remotely.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

Handle customer inquiry, that is mainly mail-based-communication 
Help fulfilling reservations in case that customer need communication with restaurants like as allergy, special request and so forth.
Make customer process efficient with team leader, and it might be required to handle communication with internal tech people to solve problems at times
This role will also closely work with same function team in US, and implement proven method into Japan market

 

Hours of work:
Monthly shift is created based on team member’s shift preferences.

Compensation:
Monthly base salary range: 270,000 ~316,800  JPY (depends on experience) 
Estimated annual salary range: 3,240,000~3,801,600 JPY

Offer of employment with American Express is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations.

 

Qualification

1 years of experience in customer support/service
Fluent in English and Japanese (written verbal)
Strong passion about hospitality services
Experience in hospitality industry ((Hotel, Dining, Event…etc.) preferred
Experience in call-center-typed-work preferred
