The Customer Marketing Manager
is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of marketing strategies and tactics to advance activation for assigned Dentsply Sirona customers — fostering strong customer relationships and results, providing best-in-class marketing support to customers, and serving as the marketing resource to the national account team.
Create insight-driven, customized marketing solutions and annual marketing plans that meet customer channel objectives
Inspire and motivate customers and agencies to take risks and to create innovative marketing approaches
Translate national brand strategies, marketing plans and insights into actionable customer marketing plans
Serve as the marketing expert across assigned accounts, with the ability to leverage customer and Dentsply Sirona strategies to develop and execute thoughtful marketing programs that drive growth.
Develop clear and powerful copy and business specific briefs that can be shared by multiple agencies to support a “Big Idea”
Ensure all communications are clear with customer focus, strong value propositions and represent the brand character
Help ensure synergy throughout all channels of communications
Use specific insights to identify opportunities and industry trends to generate retailer specific strategic annual marketing plans and budget
Pilot new communication approaches to proactively manage and optimize efficiency and effectiveness of media plans, and drive connectivity with emerging media
Analyze program/initiative results with respect to KPIs and ROI and make changes/priority decisions to increase effectiveness.
Leverage appropriate process and rigor for evaluating effectiveness of marketing campaigns
Partner closely with sales, cross-functional marketing teams, channel teams, brand marketing, digital marketing, corporate communications, marketing services and sales teams to execute marketing strategies, plans and campaigns teams to align on strategies and promotions
Prepare and present planned activities, concepts, and business updates as well as share results from program execution.
Manage and ensure compliance within the respective marketing budget.
Develop and coordinate communication to US leadership on customer marketing strategies and tactics
Track & maintain yearly advertising calendar for print and digital mediums.
Communicate with vendors on ongoing campaigns.
Development and coordination of customer specific collateral, advertisements and selling tools.
Support various training activities for end users and representatives.
Help establish and maintain consistent corporate image throughout product lines, promotional materials, and events
The ideal candidate will have both a marketing and sales mindset.
Additional duties as assigned
BS degree in Marketing or Business from an Accredited University or College; MBA preferred
Years and Type of Experience
Experience working in a channel / customer marketing model preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of key account sales, customer marketing, marketing communications, field marketing and/or product marketing experience
Experience in the dental/pharmaceutical/medical device industry strongly preferred.
Strong Working knowledge of Digital Marketing & Demand Generation Campaigns
Demonstrated success in developing and executing of marketing strategies within an established market.
Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced environment and delivering results with efficient use of resources.
Experience working with external suppliers, e.g., advertising, research and agencies.
Proven success presenting to leadership/customers
Ability to travel 25-50% of the time
