YOUR FUTURE ROLE – CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

Understand the Oracle Cloud Strategy and our SaaS Solution Portfolio
Work closely with prospects and clients to understand their business objectives and develop a deep knowledge of client business to create the most appropriate solution to meet their needs
Establish and maintain actively internal and external relationships to key stakeholders
Understand and manage stages of sales cycles
Contribute to generating, developing and closing new business
Participate in development and work in a team environment with account managers to retain and grow accounts
Building up success stories with our customers and being up to date with current market trends
Reporting to the Consulting Sales Leader Germany and work closely with all Oracle lines of business
What You’ll Bring
Your enthusiasm, knowledge, and passion for customer success will help us become the leading cloud service provider. We are looking for a Customer Engagement Manager having growth mindset and who is accustomed to solving customer’s most complex problems and helping with closing larger deals.
Master degree or equivalent and/or at least 5 years of SaaS sales and/or Consulting experience
Team player with strong interpersonal and collaborative competencies
Experience with business transformation, delivery and optimization
Personality and proper attitude to interact with C-level executives and ability to establish trustful relationships with senior stakeholders within target accounts
Excellent communication and presentation skills to inspire and engage prospects/customers
Creative thinking, problem solving and willingness to develop
Understand the decision-making process and can influence key decision makers
Ability and flexibility to travel to client locations as needed
Role is based throughout Germany or Austria - fluent German and business English language skills are required
Oracle SaaS knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle’s competitors in the wider Application space
Experience with high end software solutions or consulting services to enterprise and midmarket companies
Hands-on experience as IT Consultant or Project Manager would be beneficial

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
This role is focused on consulting service engagements for implementing Application (ERP, EPM, SCM, HCM and CX) SaaS solutions to prospects and existing clients as well as to manage ongoing client relationships in order to maximize all applications consulting revenues and margins. In close collaboration with Solution Architects and Cloud Sales Teams you will drive the sales cycle at our top prospects with passion and enthusiasm, across several applications and industries. This role is perfect for someone who is willing to take ownership, can lead complex opportunities and accounts as well as establishes professional relationships to top-level decision makers.

Bringing business process knowledge as a background would be a positive attribute for your profile (e.g. HCM, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Order Management & Fulfillment, Logistics, CX).
An ability to develop broad, strategic relationships with our main accounts supporting growth of the Oracle spend in those customers and driving profitable consulting business is key to this role. And you are equally comfortable in both a business and technical context, interacting with executives and talking shop with technical audiences.
The Customer Engagement Manager is reporting to the Consulting Sales Leader Germany and will work closely with all Oracle lines of business, positioning value-added consulting services, supporting and defining the strategy into large complex accounts. Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Oracle Applications throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation.
