Credit and Collections Clerk
Credit and Collections Clerk','JOBREQ1800075067','Canada-Quebec-Boucherville-CAN - Boucherville QC','Finance','Full-time','','Jul 26, 2022','!*!As a Credit and Collections Clerk, you will provide a variety of financial related support to internal and external customers! In this role, you will follow established guidelines to act upon recovering delinquent accounts. Can you analyze various types of financial information and reach sound conclusions? If so, this may be the opportunity for you!
Responsible for evaluating new and existing customers and leading credit investigations of credit risk to approve new customer accounts.
Supervise accounts daily including assigning credit limits, placing accounts on hold, releasing orders, reviewing collection notes and aged balances.
Lead annual credit reviews of assigned accounts in compliance with company credit policy.
Collaborate cross functionally with field sales and sales management on the status of accounts.
Answer incoming phone calls from store personnel; ensure timely resolution to customer inquiries on accounts.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent education with 3 years of proven credit adjudication and collection experience; previous experience working with financial documents preferred.
Fluent in English and French language is required.
Demonstrate understanding of special financial instruments such as security agreements, third-party guarantees, promissory notes, letters of credit
Solid understanding of SAP and other various credit software is highly encouraged.
