Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. Currently, ManTech is looking for a Configuration Management Specialist to provide support for the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR). The candidate will support the execution of EOIR Enterprise Architecture strategy by providing support for daily operational needs and will assist in the planning, engineering and execution of EOIR projects and initiatives. The candidate will also support contingency planning activities and respond to EOIR requests for documentation, reports, and data collection. The CM specialist is responsible for ensuring all existing CM processes and procedures are followed by the staff and recommend improvements to increase efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
The FSS Division provides cyber solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. Our contributions to our customers success is driving our growth.
The following are the primary responsibilities for the position:
Develop and maintain system configuration management processes, procedures and documentation in support of customer requirements.
Ensure compliance based on existing CM policies and procedures for all documentation submitted to the customer.
Review, edit and assist in the facilitation of all change requests prior to customer submittal.
Provide input into the CMB process based on operational support requirements.
Review all documentation for formatting and grammatical errors prior to customer submittal.
Serve as a technical writer in support of IT engineers developing design documents.
Author SOPs related to standard IT workflows.
Provide weekly status reports to customer and ManTech management on the status of all ongoing CM activities.
Excellent written and communication skills as the candidate will be required to present to senior management.
Proven experience in recommending solutions that improve customer satisfaction and\or the mission of the customer.
Preferred to have ITIL Certification.
Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain a DOJ Public Trust (Must obtain clearance prior to setting start date)
Requires Bachelor's Degree in information Technology or equivalent, Five years of related experience.
