Job Description
Remote Bilingual Clinical Director
Specializing in bilingual services (English, Spanish, ASL), Allies in Caring's interventions are sensitive to the complex interaction of abilities/disabilities, family, social, and cultural dynamics that make each individual unique. Our team is dedicated to helping underserved youth, adults and families who have emotional and behavioral problems move toward recovery, health, connection and greater independence through counseling, education, and community support.
The Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring sound clinical procedures and practices and the clinical and operational oversight of staff and interns. Oversight includes existing programs such as Intensive In-Community Services (IIC), Intensive In-Home services (IIH), Individual Support Services (ISS), Respite Services and Outpatient Therapy (on-site and remote), Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services and future programs that are implemented. This position will promote a culture of clinical excellence that meets and exceeds service delivery expectations.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring all aspects of client care meet or exceed service delivery expectations Supporting administrative operations of programs and, as needed, other administrative functions of the organization Providing clinical supervision including ensuring development of the individual treatment plan, file audits, reinforcing sound clinical program procedures and practices and addressing any issues related to clinical practice Providing10 hours of weekly direct services and supporting child family team meetings as needed Collaborating on the development of new programming and strategies for continued clinical growth Liaising with community stakeholders including discussing concerns and coordinating/attending meetings with AIC team and stakeholders Maintaining up to date knowledge of applicable regulations, including New Jersey mental health and DDD, and licensing standards Ensuring clinical activities, policies, processes, documentation and record management systems are compliant with company, state and federal regulations Developing and implementing clinical training programs Participating in the hiring process for positions related to clinical services Ongoing professional development related to position Other responsibilities as assigned
Skills & Requirements:
Commitment to vision and mission of the organization Active State of New Jersey LCSW or LPC Bilingual in Spanish, preferred Experience working with youth, adults and families Excellent communication, mentoring and management skills and demonstrated ability to supervise and train others Detail oriented while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible and open to changing needs and priorities. Aptitude in resolving issues and conflict Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and the use of electronic health records Ability to work independently as well as within teams of diverse groups of people across departments and in the community Strong knowledge and understanding of standards, legislation, trends, state of New Jersey regulations and guidelines, and federal regulations and guidelines related to the position and provision of clinical services
