Position Overview

Position Description

This Business Solutions leadership position is responsible for driving the research, prioritization of ideas, requirements gathering, business testing, user training, and communication of solutions that accelerate and support Shaw’s Global Sourcing Organization. The ideal candidate should be a Source-to-Pay expert, and highly experienced with global trade and financial solutions to understand business impact and value. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing solutions - from idea to implementation, with strong project management and change management skills. This is a great opportunity for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as the business leader to define, implement and maintain Shaw’s Global Sourcing solution portfolio. This requires working with Global Sourcing, IS and other Shaw Divisions to identify and implement business execution improvements. This also requires expert knowledge of the solutions in the market, and the ability to work with external solution providers.
Lead the solution strategy to support all Global Sourcing business needs, meeting regularly with and positively influence Global Sourcing associates, ensuring business system needs are captured, clearly understood, and evaluated for benefit & effort.
Lead a team that supports Shaw’s Global Sourcing organization managing requirements, testing, and implementing system or process improvements.
Lead the prioritization of requested projects and enhancements based on benefit, effort, and resources.
Define and manage project plans, which include determining phases, milestones, implementation and training timelines, as well as, holding team members accountable to meet defined target dates.
Present project status updates to appropriate level of management (project teams, Directors, Sr. Management).
Ensure day-to-day business applications are supported with on-call support, troubleshooting problems, and system administration responsibilities.
Serve as a functional System Administrator, direct functional system configuration and system governance.

Requirements

High School Diploma and 5 years demonstrated leadership in relevant business, supply chain or project management experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 2 years demonstrated leadership in relevant business, supply chain or project management experience
Proven strong organizational and time management skills as evidenced by specific project leadership
Strong global business and financial acumen.
Proven ability to create written and deliver verbal compelling communication at all levels of the organization
Some international travel may be required.
