POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general direction of Supervisor. Independently performs broad development and advisory tasks associated to Business Intelligence.  Day-to-day activities include meeting with Business Intelligence stakeholder across the Information Technology department to insure consistency, performing code/design reviews on Business Intelligence related projects, evaluating Business Technology tools and advancements, and evangelizing Business Intelligence across the organization. This position will be assisting with the strategic and tactical implementation of Enterprise reporting in a cloud landscape.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Assist with the strategic and tactical implementation of Enterprise reporting in a cloud landscape. 
• Serve as a senior technical SME and responsible for determining/influencing technical architecture decisions
• Design, develop, implement and support Azure hosted solutions
• Design, develop, implement and support Power BI Dashboards including use of other Azure hosted applications (PowerApps, Flow, Etc…)
• Identify and address gaps around the BI Development and Implementation methodology
• Keeps informed and abreast of Oil & Gas industry trends by networking with peer companies
• Keeps informed of Data Warehouse trends through self-directed study, organizations like Gartner & Forrester, Conferences, On-site and Off-site meetings and demonstrations
• Enterprise and departmental business intelligence and data warehousing and reporting solutions using BI tools including SSAS, SSRS, Power BI, SAP HANA, SQL, Oracle, and Cloud Solutions (Azure/AWS)
• Conceptualizing and developing abstract representations is required to satisfy the business requirement
• Innovating and thinking creatively to identify options when addressing business problems

PREREQUISITES
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of ten years of design and implementation experience in IT; preferably with a diverse background in various technologies and solution domain areas, including cloud platforms
• Business Intelligence Subject Matter Expert
