Krupa Consulting is seeking a hands-on publicist with extensive food, wellness and/or lifestyle media contacts. A successful candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker who can bring fresh ideas with a strong sense of work ethic to execute. They will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have PR experience with food and lifestyle brands. They must be able to wear multiple hats while immersing themselves in the brands and start pitching immediately; therefore, a self-starter with innovative ideas, who is ready to hit the ground running, is our perfect fit! Position Details
Krupa Consulting is looking for a dynamic candidate with the following qualifications:
At least two years of PR experience in lifestyle, food/consumer packaged goods, wellness PR
Proactive, hard-working, and positive attitude
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience with supporting and maintaining client accounts
Highly sophisticated client communication skills
Ability to craft pitches and build media relationships
Pitch trends and product round-up stories as well as think outside the box to create non-traditional press pitches, activations and brand partnerships
Experience with Cision, Excel, Word, Google Docs, PowerPoint, Adobe, and other press driving programs
Strong ability to take charge and desire to grow with the company
Foundational Duties
Build and organize media lists
Pitch and secure press placements
Assist in account management and day-to-day client-facing communications
Brainstorm creative brand synergies for clients
Assist in the coordinating and logistics of client events and follow up with media post-event
Brainstorm creative brand synergies for clients
Manage monthly reports and related correspondence to clients
When events are back in session (post-COVID-19) Assist in the coordinating and logistics of client events and follow up with media post-event
Other collaboratively determined duties as talents and niches in the firm evolve
