Sr. .NET Developer
Located in Santa Monica, CA.
We are seeking a Sr. .NET Developer to join our Financial Systems team.  The .NET Application Developer is a critical resource working with a team of experienced analysts, developers, and business resources to develop and maintain software used to support Demand Media Inc.
Responsibilities:
Build UI to enhance the custom developed RSE (Revenue Share Engine) automation system.
Build process to automate the manual process
Build SSRS reports and integrate SSRS reports with .NET applications.
Build monitoring tool for the integration between PayPal and Pioneer
Works with other developers and business analysts to develop and write applications systems and programs.
Identifying and resolving project issues, including issue tracking and escalation.
May assist the Application Manager (or Director) in the creation of project plans.
Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades
Upgrade SQL Server and Application Server.
Qualifications:
Fluent in C#.Net/
ASP.NET
Microsoft SQL Server (2005, 2008, 2012 preferred), with the ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2008, 2012, stored procedures.  Very strong in transact SQL. Working knowledge of SSIS and SSRS a plus.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
Strong JavaScript skills
Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
In-depth knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0/4.5 Framework, including Visual Studio 2008/2010/2012, C#.NET,
ASP.NET
, ASMX, WCF, Web Services, and Web API.
Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge of Entity Framework, Unity or any IoC, MVC 4.0, LINQ, Razor, TDD, AJAX, Silverlight, and/or jQuery.
