A construction surveyor is responsible for surveying the land available for construction projects. Typical responsibilities of a construction surveyor include preparation of worksheets, plats, boundary descriptions; providing consultation on land development projects; surveying land for various project sites; supervising and mentoring a construction team; and communicating with clients, staff, and construction crew.
A construction surveyor should have a bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering. Familiarity with the use of AutoCAD may be required. Prior experience as a construction surveyor, project surveyor, or land surveyor is advantageous.
