The Brain Injury Center Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
Providing health care services for brain injured trauma patients under the direction of the collaborating BIC Physician Director and Trauma Center Manager.
Directing and coordinating a comprehensive health care plan to achieve optimal outcomes for the assigned brain injured and trauma patient population across the continuum of care, using evidence-based practice guidelines.
Evaluating care based on trauma performance improvement (PI) standards, other appropriate PI standards, core measures, access, and cost effectiveness.
Contributing to excellence in brain injured and trauma patient’s care by focusing on age-specific, developmental, and psychosocial needs and serving as a role model in patient care, consulting, teaching, and leadership.
Reporting to the Director of the Brain Injury Center and Trauma Program Manager.
To qualify for this position you must have:
An MSN, PNP.
2 years clinical NP experience in the care of the pediatric patients.
Well-developed organization skills, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team.
Experience in critical care, trauma or brain injury preferred.
*This position is 40 Hours Per Week, Monday – Friday, 4 days/week 10 hours/day*
