Who are we looking for....
An Assistant Corporate Controller, reporting to the Corporate Controller with responsibilities in all areas of accounting. The Assistant Corporate Controller will coordinate and manage the global finance and taxation activities of all six countries. This role will also assist with other key functions such as tax planning, month end and year end reporting, and the monitoring of internal controls. The ideal candidate for this position will be energetic, motivated, and will enjoy working in an open and collaborative environment.
If you would like to be responsible for...
Manage general ledger activities including foreign subsidiary activity
Prepare financial statements
Liaise with external auditors and tax accountants
Prepare quarterly income tax estimates for federal and state tax returns
Coordinate and prepare cost allocations for cross-border activities
Assist with the reconciliation and analysis of inter-company activity
Ad-hoc report to management
Take on special projects as needed
The preferred candidate will have...
5 - 7 years of accounting experience
2 years of public accounting experience (middle market CPA firms are preferred)
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
MBA or equivalent is a plus
Taxation and audit experience
Strong communication and organization skills
Strong work ethic
