Top Careers with Lots of Jobs and Flexibility

 Dated: 07-29-2013

Finding work in today’s time means competing with hundreds or even thousands of others for the same position. This means that you’re going to have to have to pick and choose jobs that have many openings, so that you can increase your chances of getting hired. Now, this may mean switching careers, which is possible, thanks to online schooling and colleges that offer to-the-point education that’s faster than traditional institutions. For instance, if you wanted to switch over to the medical field, you could find degree programs between nine months and two years. If you’re already in the health care field, you can increase your education by moving up in the industry, such as going from a nursing aide to an RN. Let’s take a look at some of the career paths that have shown great promise in the amount of job openings.

Jobs that are Flexible

If you're juggling work and school, family and work or all of the above, you will need to locate jobs that are flexible. There are a couple of fields that offer a bit of flexibility, so that you can manage all areas of your life. These fields include:

  • Medical and health
  • Administrative
  • Sales
  • Customer service
  • Education and training
If you aren't in any of these fields and you're looking for flexible schedules and atmospheres, then you should try moving over to one of them. For the past two years, medical and health has been the top flexible job, so you may want to give that a shot.

Fields with the Most Employment Opportunity Increases
